After a whole summer touring Asia, Chan is finally home! The trip was extremely fun and productive at the same time. From shows with M-flo in sold out arenas in Japan to recording a big portion of his follow up album, Chan has remained extremely busy and the buzz continues to reach new heights!
the sound    the lowdown

Hip Hop afficianados first took notice of Chan when he dropped his first 12"(vinyl) offering, 'Politickin w/ Chan,' b/w 'Big in Japan,' in September of '01 on Detonator Records. 'Chairman Mao,' music critic/reviewer at XXL magazine went so far as to say that "...Chan is the rugged-est, most skilled Asian-American MC I've heard yet - actually, he's pretty dope on any scale..."

the band

As a result of Chan's hard work in '01, he was nominated 'Best New Rap/Hip-Hop Act,' in the 15th annual Boston Music Awards and has blessed the stage with some of hip hop's finest including, Guru(Gangstarr), Jeru tha Damaja, Talib Kweli, Cormega, Jedi Mind Tricks, Krumbsnatcha, Jin tha MC, Mr.Lif, Black Moon, Boot Camp Clique, and many, many more.

After succesfully completing a nationwide tour that spanned the entire east coast, midwest, and dirty south with Detonator Records, Chan devoted himself to the writing and recording of his highly anticpated debut album 'Part of the Nation,' which was released in the Fall of '04 under Chan's own start-up record label 'Dynasty Muzik.'

Remaining raw, Chan's overall musical message remains insightful, intelligent, spiritual, and humorous
